We went out for sushi at Suisha Gardens a couple nights ago. The Kamikaze and Ebiten rolls were outstanding. As always, great stuff!

Went to Milagro for a late lunch today. Had combo #2 (burrito and 2 enchiladas) and quite enjoyed it. Still one of our favorites...

A week or two ago we went out for dinner with some friends at Play. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was quite pleasant, and the food was good. I am not sure that it is the best option in Ottawa at that price range (high end), but it was an enjoyable evening.

Went to the Druid (pub/steakhouse in the ByWard Market) today. This is a new restaurant with a really nice ambiance and a two different patios. The beer selection is rather pedestrian (I've been waiting a while to use that one...) but the food was really quite good. The prices are somewhere between steakhouse and pub, but the quality of food seems to make it worth the extra expense. I am looking forward to trying more of the menu (the caprese salad was one of the best I have had).

Check out a little Jazz on Sunday evenings at Chez Lucien.

Went to Druid again. We had three different dishes and all were very well prepared. They really seem to pay attention to the details. Definitely worth checking out.

We went to Murray Street last night and had another great meal (and yes, that is the name of the restaurant as well as the street it is on). The duck poutine in amazing!

We stopped by the Chateau Laurier to have a look at the Christmas decorations and decided to stop for a drink at Zoe's. If you feel like spoiling yourself with some high-end drinks in a great atmosphere, check this place out. The live piano was a nice touch. We finished of at Suisha again and were once again very pleased.

Well, it's official, Mill st. is now one of our favorites. Great food (we have been there 4 times now), atmosphere, and service. Oh ya, and then there is the beer...
