Shopping

  • Glebe – Bank St. between highway 417 and the Canal.  This is one of Ottawa’s hippest neighborhoods with plenty of artsy and upscale shops explore.
  • Dalhousie st – A street on the Eastern boundary of the ByWard Market, north of Rideau st.  From unique fashions to kitchen supplies, a little bit of everything.
  • ByWard Market – A lively area of downtown Ottawa loaded with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and local product merchants.
  • Westborough – A little off the tourist path, you’ll find a little higher quality of products and restaurants in this area.  Pretty much anything is available, but one of the unique aspects of this area is the number of outdoor outfitters.
  • Rideau Shopping Center – All the typical mall stuff with some higher end options available
  • St-Laurant Shopping Center – A mall.  Lots of free parking makes this an attractive option
  • Train Yard – A really good variety of outlet type stores.
